How Invisalign Works …
- A 3D digital scan of your teeth is made (no horrible gunky impressions needed) along with photos and X-rays of your teeth. These are sent to Align®, where a precise 3D plan is individually crafted for your smile.
- Once your treatment plan is ready, you can view in 3D the proposed changes to your smile. If you approve, your aligners are then manufactured and shipped to us, arriving in a few days.
- You’ll receive your first sets of aligners. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks, then replaced with the next in the series, moving your teeth gradually into place. Aligners are worn for 22 hours a day and removed for eating and cleaning.
- You’ll see us every six to eight weeks to review progress. Once your teeth have straightened to their final positions, your Invisalign treatment is complete! You’ll then be given retainers to ensure your teeth stay straight. Enjoy !!
