Dr. Booyse, has over 20 years of experience in dental care working in the UK and South Africa, he understands the dental challenges patients face. He is committed to providing transformative solutions.
With a focus on precision dentistry and patient comfort, Dr. Booyse specialises in advanced dental procedures that result in naturally beautiful smiles. His personalised treatment plans cater to each patient’s unique needs, eliminating patient concerns.

Dr. Chris Anderson
BDS
Chris is the founder of DentalPlus.
After graduating from Otago University in 1986, Chris worked in Whakatane and overseas before settling in the Mount in 1992, first with Bayfair Dental and now DentalPlus.
He is passionate about dentistry and has a wealth of postgraduate training and experience in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, full mouth rehabilitation and implants. He maintains membership of the NZ Dental Association and the NZ Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and has been a regular contributor on new dental technology for the NZDA News.
Chris’ wife Brenda and their three children are his focus when not at work and when time permits he also enjoys a variety of pursuits including photography, golf and fishing.

Dr. Nicola Wood,
BDS, BSc (Hons), MFDS RCS (Ed)
Nicola qualified from the University of Newcastle- upon- Tyne in 2001, for the next 3 years she continued her training at the Edinburgh Dental Institute. She successfully passed a series of examinations to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003. In 2004 she moved to Tauranga where she has been working as a dentist ever since.
Nicola is passionate about providing comprehensive dental care and helping people to have a positive experience. She enjoys building trusting relationships with patients to establish and maintain a healthy mouth for the long term.
Nicola Is experienced and confident in all aspects of general dentistry. She has special interests in minimally invasive dentistry, cosmetic and functional dentistry, including dental implants. Nicola gained her certificate from the New Zealand Society for Anaesthesia and Sedation in Dentistry in 2006 and routinely provides sedation for those patients who require it for their dental treatment. Nicola continues to attend dental courses to ensure she is providing the best dental treatment and preventative techniques for her patients.
When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends both here and in the UK. She has embraced the New Zealand lifestyle enjoying mountain biking, adventure racing and skiing.

Katrina Gaskell
BOH
Katrina (Kat) graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2018. Her initial two years post-graduation were dedicated to pediatric care in the public health sector, followed by two years in private practice, focusing on dental therapy and hygiene. In 2021, she embarked on a 2-year adventure to London, where Katrina served as a dental treatment coordinator, applying her skills in varied dental settings.
Known for a gentle and personalised approach to dentistry, Katrina believes in tailoring care to the unique needs of each patient.Beyond the dental chair, Katrina is an outdoor enthusiast, she loves running, surfing, yoga and hiking.
Her family holds a special place in her heart. She loves spending time with them in Coromandel, enjoying activities like fishing, water skiing, and scuba diving.

Bronwyn studied at Wellington Dental College where she gained a Diploma in Dental Therapy, followed by a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Adelaide Dental Hospital. She worked at a top Wellington practice for a number of years and also took on other roles, including Chairperson of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Dental Hygiene Association and working with the Ministry of Health on the Technical Advisory Group for Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy.
Bronwyn is dedicated to providing impeccable patient care. She has a very friendly approach and is passionate about providing gentle, thorough hygiene care in a friendly and relaxed environment.
