Myobrace treatment involves a series of removable dental appliances worn for an hour each evening and overnight while sleeping. The appliances use light, intermittent forces to align teeth and correct improper muscle activity.

Daily use of Myobrace appliances combined with regular activities (to improve breathing, posture, muscle function and tongue position) results in straighter teeth, improved function and better facial development.

The optimum time to begin Myobrace treatment is 5 to 10 years of age when facial growth is still active. Patients over 13 years of age can also be treated but the problems and habits causing the crooked teeth are often more difficult to change at this stage.
